How to Paint a Bathroom Vanity like a Professional

It is a fact that sometimes people avoid remodeling the bathroom due to lack of finance and they always hesitate to invest on bathroom décor. The interior designers are introducing different new ideas which are really helpful for middle class families. One of the main ideas is to repaint your old looking bathroom vanity. Mostly people usually trash these kinds of old items but some art lovers try to remodel these items to show their affection and long relation towards them. So avoid trashing and repaint them.
So whenever you are going to start this process, you must consider the following items must be present there:
*        Your Desired Color Paint.
*        A Paint Brush or a Roller.
*        Sponge.
*        Kerosene Oil (for cleaning the dust).
You should start the process in such professional way by following these steps:
ü  If your vanity is attached with cabinets, then first remove the doors of cabinet. Also remove the catchers, locks or any hardware attached with.
ü  The second step is to properly clean the surface with the help of sponge and cleaning detergent. Choose kerosene oil where the dust spots are heavier.
ü  If the surface is painted before then with the help of Thinner or any other surface cleaning material to properly clean the spots of old paint.
ü  Use masking tape on the sides of vanity to avoid spots on walls or other attached items.
When you properly complete these all safety precautions then start the paint slowly. First do a light coat and wait to dry it properly. It’s better to use a standard 4 inch brush for this task. After completion of first coat, apply second coat thicker then the first one. If you get the desired results, then avoid the 3rd coat to save your paint, otherwise it’s better to apply at least three coats. The third coat will be dark then the first two coats.
After finish the repaint task, don’t use the vanity for at least 48 hours to properly dry the paint. Its sometimes take 4 to 5 days to get properly dry depending on the overall atmosphere of the area.
